Cover Reveal with Giveaways: The Dragon Carnivale by Heidi Garrett

So I'm super excited to share with you a cover reveal for
book 3 of the Queen of the Realm of Faerie series!!!!
the generous and wonderful author, Heidi Garrett
has some super sweet goodies for us as well! YAY!!!

But before I get too far ahead of myself, let me tell you about the first two books....

In the heart of the Enchanted World, a defiant young half-faerie struggles to free herself from the shadow of her father’s dark ambitions…
Dark visions haunt the half-faerie Melia, but try as she might, she can't chase away the images of destruction linked to her father's obsession with Umbra--the mortal ash accumulating in the Void. Looking for a way to put an end to the visions, she visits the Illustrator and receives a strange mark meant to bring her help. Before it arrives, a tragic accident occurs and a family's dark legacy unravels.

The Queen of the Realm of Faerie series is inspired by the 15th century French fairy tale, Melusine.

The half-faerie Melia wants to save her sister from a false marriage, and their world from a dark power. But her sister is determined to pursue their father's damning legacy, and the cost of denying true love will be apocalyptic.

Let me introduce our author.....

Heidi Garrett is the author of The Queen of the Realm of Faerie series. Her personal message to all her readers is:

Once upon a time, you lived in an enchanted world, too…

There is magic in all our lives; sometimes we need to look with different eyes to see it.

The Queen of the Realm of Faerie includes many strong female characters within an intricate fantasy land. It is also a fairy tale fantasy.

The first book, Nandana’s Mark, is one of those free ebooks; the second book, The Flower of Isbelline, is now available; and the third book, The Dragon Carnivale, will be released in June 2013.

Heidi's hope is that when you read her books, you will rediscover the enchantment in your own life.

She currently resides in Eastern Washington State with her husband and their two cats. So far, she loves the snow. Being from the South, she finds it very magical.

  1. What do I love about this blog? I love the badge! It is gorgeous:) And, I love that funny on the upper left: "For the love of God, turn the page. You are like the slowest reader ever." It totally cracks me up! But what I'm curious about is the "fitness adventure." I can only imagine it's a great balance to all things bookish:) Danielle, thank you for hosting the cover reveal and giveaway. It looks so lovely on your site. THANK YOU! Heidi

    1. Thank you!!!! I made the badge myself! And I'm glad you stopped by Fitness Adventure, too. I'm not real consistent with blogging there, but I enjoy sharing about fitness. What did you think about the Warrior Dash? My favorite obstacle was the fire, just because it seemed so bad a$$, tee hee hee! :)

    2. Well, it's very cool & creative, your badge:) The fire was very awesome and to be honest, I think the whole thing made me feel kinda' bad a$$:P I did like the really tall rope ladder, I think it was right before the mud? fire? anyway, it was toward the end. We almost didn't go, but I was so glad we did! Everyone should try it … once:)
