2 Giveaways, Blogiversary Day and Cambria Hebert's Tirade Release Day Celebration!!!

So yes, it's FINALLY here!!!

That's right.... we've been celebrating throughout the month....
but it is truly my very first BLOGIVERSARY!!!

Yay!!!  Woo hoo!!!  Wippeeeeee!!!
***Cartwheels***
Tee hee hee .... that was fun ;)

One year ago today, I got brave and joined the blogging world.
I had no idea what an incredible and blessed journey this would become.

My very first post was a five star review of
Cambria Hebert's Christmas short story, Whiteout.
Read that review here.  Then you should probably go and add it to your Goodreads TBR
because it's an incredible, sticks-with-you, wish-there-was-more tale
(but won't be available again for purchase until later in December)!!!
But then come back because we have much, much more to do here today.
Including more from Cambria Hebert (fitting, huh?)!

So yes, today is a DOUBLE celebration!!!

As it all began with the ever so talented Cambria Hebert,
we will celebrate year one with her as well!
Today is the release of book #3 in the Heven & Hell series, Tirade!!!!
And it ROCKS!
Get to know the series better by checking out this post.

So let's start with my review of Tirade......

Tirade (Heven & Hell #3)
by Cambria Hebert

Betrayal burns. Death hurts and the clock ticks…

Minutes and hours stretch into days. How long can Sam survive being confined in Hell? I have a plan… a plan with a lot of holes. I need someone who can make up for my weaknesses, someone who possesses the power that I lack. Riley is supposed to be off limits. He’s dangerous, he’s mean and he’s not to be trusted. But I do.

Beelzebub is on a tirade, bent on revenge. I took what he wants and sent him into the flames. I will wear the scars of his punishments forever. But scars don’t scare me anymore.

On my way to free Sam I find my true path, a secret place and new allies. But in Hell nothing is easy… and everything is cruel. The only thing left to do is survive.

Genre:  YA Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance
Publisher Type:  Indie, Self
My Rating:  *  *  *  *  *

My Review:
The Heven & Hell books keep getting better and better!!!  Heven really grows into her own and continues to discover new things about herself.  Heven's character growth is one of my favorite things about this whole series and it's great to see her in full-out heroine mode in Tirade.

She takes crazy risks to do so, but Heven is determined to rescue Sam.  She seeks out Riley, who everyone (Sam included) thinks is pure evil.  Heven sees the good in him (so very true to her nature).  Can she trust him?  Hmmmm.... I wouldn't want to give anything away.  I always love when a character's motives are questionable; the mystery and suspense of it is thrilling.  I really enjoy Riley's character.  He's a fun character with great snark; you also see the battle of good verses evil within him.  I'm really intrigue where things will go from here with him, especially with that epilogue!

Tirade is suspenseful, action-packed, full of plot twists and turns (love the twist on who Beelzebub is really seeking!!!) and stamped with that trademark soul-deep love between Heven and Sam. really loved this book and am now just desperately waiting to see what happens next!!!

Cover Art:
This is the author's husband!!!  How cool is that?!?  I love all her covers, though I do miss the gold sparkle of the first few.  Check out the graphic artist, Mae I Design, who does all the Heven & Hell covers.

Quotes that made me giggle from Heven:
I looked at the fork still clutched in my hand.  It made a pretty good weapon.  I stuck it in my pocket - a girl in my situation never knew when she might need a fork.

We all feel into silence.  Gemma was probably wondering if Cole was still in love with Kimber.  Cole was probably wondering what he said to make me yell, and I was lying there desperately trying not to vomit.  What a group we made.

Even after the dragon ate his snack, he stood there as if waiting for something.  I thought after his chocolate fix (a dragon with a chocolate addiction is so unreal it can only happen in my life), he would fly away.
